How many pieces of luggage can we take, what weight, what dimensions?

On most airlines, the suitcase in the hold should not exceed 158cm (height+width+depth) and 23kg.

 

More details depending on the airlines used:

  • Air France/KLM/Delta
  • Emirates
  • Etihad
  • Qantas
  • Ryan air
    • Caution for Australia 23 kg only on the Canberra-Melbourne domestic flight!
    • Transavia
      • In cabin: 10 kg, dimensions not exceeding 55x25x35cm including handle and wheels.
      • And depending on the destination, in the hold: 20 kg

The TSA type padlock is absolutely not mandatory for the United States. It is simply a universal padlock that US customs officials can open without any damage. If you don’t have this type of lock, don’t use a padlock as this will avoid the risk of damage to your suitcase in the event of an inspection.
